A Subdued New Year Celebration

Friday, 17 Jamadilawal 1442H - 1 January 2021

Adios 2020 and Welcome 2021.

A Happy New Year to all readers. May all of you be blessed with a wonderful and successful Year 2021.

A challenging 2020 has just left, and let us now usher in the Year 2021 with a New Hope and in a good Positive Spirit.

The New Year 2021 Celebration in Malaysia was not as grandeur as the previous years. No Special New Year Countdown and No Lavish Fireworks Display. Just a quiet affair. A dismal year, following a worldwide surge of Covid-19 outbreak which originated in Wuhan, China in Dec 2019.

It was ushered in a low scale in the shadow of Covid-19 pandemic and world economic slowdown. A stark contrast from the past years!

Since umpteenth years, the beginning of every new year will be marked by multiple new resolutions. But, the 2021 resolutions in Malaysia will be totally in different mood and mode. Our main priority will be to continue to safeguard our health and safety, to break the chain and curb the spread of Covid-19 and to reinvigorate our sluggish economy. In other words, we will continue to soldier on with SOP in tag in line with the new norm set by the Government.

Healthwise, we are not socially and economically free yet. We are bound by worldwide restrictions to halt the Covid-19 infections. Thus, affecting our social movements and economic growth.

As long as the world is without the proper and right Vaccines for its citizens, the nasty virus will continue to reign and thrive. And we will continue to live and lead our everyday life under siege.

Thanks to Allah, since few months back, various types of Covid-19 Vaccines have been discovered, tested, tried and approved. They are now available in the market to be distributed worldwide.

I hope these Vaccines will be a Game Changer and bring a much awaited renewed hope to the Year 2021.

To date, Pfizer's and Moderna's Vaccines have been vaccinated to millions of Americans, Europeans, including Singaporeans. The doses were first given to healthcare workers, elderly, patients and leaders. Its true efficacy and effectiveness have yet to be fully ascertained! But, few recipients were said to experience allergic reactions, mild and severe headache, fever, fatigue and Brain Fog after the first shots.

But, American Public Health Experts have welcomed the reactions as a sign that the vaccines work.

Malaysians are expected to get their first doses in early or middle of 2021 after the Government receive its vaccine supplies from the producers.

I Pray to Almighty Allah that the New Year 2021 will herald a new hope and a new light to Malaysia with the rollout of the Vaccines. Henceforth, reclaim our good health and life, and kick start our depressed economy.

Please follow the SOP set by the Government. Malaysia closed its 2020 curtain yesterday with a Big Bang of 2,525 positive cases. An alarming figures!

Allah Cares Those Who Care Themselves.

A Happy New Year 2021 to all readers.

The End

Apa Itu Konsep Malaysian Malaysia?

Rabu, 2 Mei 2018 - Saya ingin berkongsi sedikit maklumat tentang Konsep Malaysian Malaysia setelah membaca beberapa artikel mengenainya.

Sepetang Bersama Para Veteran Pelabuhan

Saya berpeluang duduk semeja bersama Dato Jaei, Dato Basir Maskijo, Tn Hj Ghazali Hassan, Tn Hj Azah...
